Yellow House Demo was recorded in 2009 in Radford Virginia at 101 Monroe St. My favorite house of all time. Recorded in true stereo using a Realistic SCT-12 with two condenser microphones directly to tape. The premise was to record something stripped down and basic with no effects. The house had plaster walls and solid hardwood floors. Basically a documentation of being 24. Post van life, post austin life, post punk life, swim in the river and search for arrow head type shit with a side of depression. Taylor Potter (RIP) plays drums on "Green Room." We recorded the bass and drums live and I later added the vocals and guitar. To date that is my favorite recording I have ever been a part of and I miss him dearly. This was the Prequel to "Winter Home," the following season when I moved back to Virginia Beach and recorded the second half of this series.
